WELCOME TO LIBRARY SUPERSTARS

Established during the 2021-2022 school year, Library Superstars is a PTO initiative that aims to raise funds for the school library. Throughout the year, LKE families have the opportunity to donate money towards books and other essential items that will keep the library stocked with both current and new books as well as materials that will encourage students' love for reading and enhance the school's ability to promote the importance for lifelong literacy. All proceeds of this program go directly back to the library.

In December 2022, the first installment of the Library Superstars Wall outside the library was unveiled. LKE students and families are now able to enjoy the wall and its growing collage of stars as it continues to raise money through the years. It is pictured below. In memoriam of Lauren Sifferman, LKE PTO President and devoted mother and friend, the largest star in the mural has been dedicated in her honor. Lauren greatly impacted the entire LKE community and worked hard to bring the Library Superstars program to fruition.
