AmazonSmile is a website operated by Amazon with the same products, prices, and shopping features as Amazon.com. The difference is that when you shop on AmazonSmile, the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible products to the charitable organization of your choice.

How to set up on a computer:

Step 1: In your internet browser go to smile.amazon.com and log in using your Amazon credentials.

Step 2: After signing in, you will be directed to select a charitable organization. 

Step 3: Under the heading “Or pick your own charitable organization” enter "Lakewood Elementary PTO" then click "Search".

Step 4: Find the one in Overland Park, KS, and click the yellow "Select" button. 

Step 5: You will be redirected to a page, where you will check the box next to "Yes" that you understand how it works.  Then click "Start Shopping".  

Step 6: You will be redirected to Amazon’s homepage that adds a disclaimer about how to add AmazonSmile to your toolbar, should you want to add a particular bookmark for it. 

That’s it! You are now signed up for AmazonSmile! Just be sure to visit smile.amazon.com every time you normally visit Amazon to make sure your eligible purchases are having a portion of the price donated to Lakewood Elementary PTO, so we can continue to support our students, staff, and school!

To change your charitable organization, if you have previously connected to a different charity:

Step 1: Sign in to smile.amazon.com on your desktop or mobile phone browser.

Step 2: From your desktop, go to Your Account from the navigation at the top of any page, and then select the option to Change your Charity. Or, from your mobile browser, select Change your Charity from the options at the bottom of the page.

Step 3: Search for and Select "Lakewood Elementary PTO" to support.
